About the participation in the 14th Annual Conference of Creative Cities in Brazil 2022

Regarding the participation in the 14th Annual Conference of Creative Cities in Brazil 2022, based on an invitation from the city of Santos, Al-Ahsa participated in the event organized by Santos in collaboration with the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. The conference took place from July 18 to 22, with the presence of mayors and representatives from over 110 cities across 52 countries. The event aimed to showcase practices and experiences related to the role of creativity and culture in achieving the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. Al-Ahsa was represented by Eng. Essam Al-Mulla, Mayor of Al-Ahsa, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shubayth, Director of the International Organizations and Healthy Cities Department and Coordinator of Al-Ahsa in the Creative Cities Network, and Mr. Khalid Al-Bushal, Director of the Media Department.
