Al-Ahsa Municipality participated in the 11th annual meeting of the member cities of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network, which was held during the period from June 30, 2017 and until July 2, 2017 in Enghien-les-Bains, France.

Eng. Adel Al-Mulhem said that Al-Ahsa Municipality is keen to deepen its social role in providing services to craftsmen and to involve them in most events, festivals and events in relation to Al-Ahsa's creative assets which make it among the world's countries. The coordinator of Al-Ahsa in UNESCO's network of creative cities, Eng. Ahmed Al-Matar, spoke about Al-Ahsa's programs and activities in cultural, tourism and social activities in line with the objectives of the creative network, which has a prominent role in creativity and culture in the implementation of the UN Millennium Development Goals Aims at: (Making cities more humane, inclusive, safe and sustainable), and achieving the real desire and enthusiasm to implement the Al Ahsa creative plan by the joint working group consisting of 10 governmental and private sectors, thus achieving the objectives of the network.
